Carteret Speedway Set for Jumpstart ’26 on April 25 Featuring Full Racing Program, Special Promotions, and Fan Giveaways

SWANSBORO, NC — Carteret Speedway is set to host its second event of the 2026 season with Jumpstart ’26 on Saturday, April 25 at 4:00 PM. Following a successful Opening Day, the speedway is preparing for another action-packed afternoon featuring multiple racing divisions, special driver incentives, and fan engagement promotions.

The event will include racing from Street Stock, Mini Stock, U-CAR, Bomber, Legend Cars, and Jr. Mini Cup, showcasing a full lineup of local and regional talent.

Adding to the excitement, Carteret Speedway is offering free tires for Street Stock competitors, providing additional incentive for participation and competition in one of the track’s most popular divisions.

The Legend Car division will feature a mystery purse, increasing anticipation as drivers compete for an undisclosed payout amount.

Fans will also have a chance to take part in the action with a Frisbee Fling cash giveaway, where money will be tossed into the stands during the event.

“This event is all about building momentum early in the season,” said track officials. “We’re excited to offer something for both drivers and fans — from competitive purses to interactive giveaways.”

General admission tickets are just $15, with discounted pricing for children and free admission for kids five and under. Trackside parking and camping options are also available.
