After Rockin' the Track this past Saturday night, all eyes are on the Spring Showdown/First Responders Night at America's Nicest Short Track. April 30th will showcase an excellent night of racing with some extra money on the line for a handful of our weekly divisions.
Firstly, the Super Trucks have been postponed for this event and their event will be made up at the next race on May 14th.
The Chargers are set to make their return to Carteret County Speedway on April 30th and they'll be racing for $1,500! The Street Stocks have been added to the event and they will compete for $1,500 as well.
We're not done handing out money yet, though. The fan-favorite Legends division will battle for $1,000. The U-CAR division will race for a $600 payday. Last but not least, the Bomber division will race twice in one night with twin features paying $250 to win each! This is going to be an action-packed night that you do not want to miss. This night is also a night to honor our first responders and their families for their bravery to keep us safe each and every day. First responders are free for this event with an ID.
The Spring Showdown will feature the return of the Chargers, the newly added Street Stocks, U-CARs, Bombers, Legends, Junior and Senior Mini Cups, and Champ Karts.
All of the above winner's purses are based on a minimum car count: Chargers - 10, Street Stocks - 10, Legends - 15, Bombers - 10, U-CAR - 10.
The full race weekend schedule will be available soon and tickets are already on sale at carteretspeedway.com/spring
