You’ve always been able to color Bobby Watson’s Carteret County Speedway red, white and blue! On any given race day more than fifty American Flags wave proudly over America’s Nicest Short Track representing the freedom we all enjoy thanks to those who have honored our country through military service.
Like many race tracks, Carteret County Speedway has always had special military appreciation nights featuring discounted admission and other benefits but 2023 will be different.
Speedway owner Bob Lowery has announced that starting with the opening day “Jumpstart 165” on April 2nd and for the entire racing season through November 12, all active and retired military with ID will receive a five-dollar discount off the regular adult admission of $15. That represents a 33% discount, a small token of our appreciation for your commitment.
“Our track is located between two military bases and we wanted to make it a little easier for active and retired military and their families to find some stress release with an exciting fun night at the races,” said Lowery.
Carteret County Speedway has always had a special spot for the military and on opening day April 2nd it will be Marine Brigadier General Kevin Stewart on hand to give the charge “Drivers start your engines”!
2023 promises to be the best racing season ever at Carteret Speedway and it just got better thanks to our season-long military discount! We’ll see you at the races.
