Bobby Watson’s Carteret County Speedway wrapped up the 2022 season December 9 and 10 with its Race of Champions, the biggest and richest race in track history, a $50,000 payday with even bigger dreams for the 2023 season!
Entering its 8th season, Carteret Speedway has earned a reputation for great auto racing and special entertainment events! 2023 will only add to that legacy featuring Rock Concerts, Swap Meets, a Monster Truck Show, Laser Light Shows, Bike Races and more.
Of course, Carteret Speedway is first and foremost America’s Nicest Short Track racing facility with big-time auto racing and some of the top drivers in the country!
The 2023 race schedule runs March-November and includes dates with the Southern Super Series June 24th, the Davey Allison Memorial August 12 and the Labor Day Classic featuring SMART Modifieds September 2nd to name a few.
Bubba Pollard with 28 Southern Super Series wins, is considered one of the top short track racers in America, could possibly headline June 24th along with Stephen Nasse and Hunter Robbins as potential entries.
The August 12th Davey Allison Memorial will feature the Allison Legacy Series which helps develop the drivers of the future and the we’ll have the biggest Legends race of the year, the Legends Shootout.
The SMART Modifieds will be in town September 2nd with drivers from all over the Southeast including some former NASCAR greats. Bobby LaBonte raced in 2022 and won in 2021.
Carteret County Speedway is dedicated to becoming the entertainment headquarters for Coastal Carolina!
